This was our first tune on the car right after install.

We have made some tweaks to it but you can see that it follows the stock path and just continues up and holds over ~60whp to redline.

We have tweaked the tune even more but I haven't done any 3rd gear pulls.

All the latest tweaking was done logging 1/4 mi runs.

I will try and get some logs this week of wot 3d gear pulls.

I think there are more than a few here that missed the 111mph part of that run. 111 for a 9.8 on pump is very good, especially considering clutch issues.

I have been saying it for awhile...S2's arent TOO big for stock turbo cars.

Congrats on the newfound power Brad, cant wait to see some times with the new clutch

Thanks John.

I hope to get some better ETs but I think that is pretty much what I am going to trap for now.

brad was on the phone with me from the track and reading off the load/timing/fuel/knock...we tried quite a few different combinations and just couldn't squeeze out anything more to improve the trap without inducing knock.

like JB said, that turbine side is holding him up more than anything else most likely and race gas was out of the question with the clutch struggling to hang on as it was. I wouldn't be surprised if he picked up a few mph with a better clutch since he'd be able to come out of the gate a bit quicker.

Same here. Greg disagreed with me on a few occasions, so I backed off and didn't want to risk my $ on my opinion.

Brad, are these set at 0/0? If so, any intention of trying different settings?

I think a list of mods is in order to give us the complete picture.

Brad talked to GSC and they didn't recommend trying the S2's on the stock turbo either. Sometimes you just have to go with your gut and ignore what other people think

I am seriously considering the S2's for the 35R I would assume that these would produce much better numbers over my hks 272's on a 35R?

I would agree.

I am going to the HTA35r kit so that played into my decision as well.

Only wanted to do a cam install once.

yep, the 272's are a little small for your setup

Yes unlike me.... I am in the works of getting cam setup #2 I think... I did however get these HKS's when there was nothing else the 280's weren't even out yet. LOL So they have been on the car for while.
