The sound is due to how much boost you run. With how much boost we run on our cars its hard to really change the sound...how bout getting another blow off?

Are you both running the same turbos? Some turbos flow more air at higher boost. Either that or one of you may have a boost leak and not know it.

We both are tuned at 21lbs and did total boost leak checks no leaks found. My tial sounds like a greddy RS or HKS SSQ in a way. When it goes off the sound flutters a few times.

The spring in bov might be too strong. And if it is the case that BOV will make fluttering sound. Just verify which spring you have in your BOV. Also if you have cams your vacuum goes down and you need weaker BOV spring. hope that helps.
