Very interesting, I don't have reverse in my car but I have all the other gears and they work fine. So now I know what it looks like.

Do have any idea what its like to have your wife push you out of the driveway each morning. Well for me its not too bad but for her it must suck.

Ya so a new tranny is on its way as I write this, with a Exedy twin HD. sweeeeeet.

This should be standard procedure to ensure everything is sealed. I run the car and get it up to operating temperature and go through the gears on a lift after a clutch job/tranmission swap.

A thorough check for leaks ANYTIME you work on something involving seals, gaskets, etc... should be looked over this way as well. Once that checks out a short road test should be done next then get the car up on a lift or jacks and double check for leaks again.

In the case of my car (it's been apart quite a few times) and friends cars I then like to get under it after a few days of driving to ensure everything is still sealed/leak free as sometimes things take a couple days to show up due to difference operating conditions.

I am guessing to help with fast shifts.

I have a Shep transmission that I had built about a year and a half ago and I got slight gear grinding shifting ito 5th quickly. It's been like that from day one of the rebuild. The rest of the gears were 100% smooth. I absolutely love the feel of it and the work was incredibly fast and John was very informative when I talked to him.

I've recently started to get 4th grinding for whatever reason, and it got pretty bad quickly, but only during a very fast shift so I am planning to send it back to get checked out/repaired. I also want to get a double the synchro 5th modification as I am pretty sure I do not have it already, and I want an Evo IX 1st gear since it is longer.
