If only we could add compressor flow maps and max cfm's for each of the turbos listed, this thread would be complete ...

I did find this page which seems to have some mitsu compressor maps ...

I have a JDM evo and am getting a good deal on a JDM Evo 8 MR turbo from a friend. But someone told me that it does not have 10.5 turbine housing... is it true ??

Does someone have the exact spec of the JDM evo 8 turbo and JDM evo 8 MR turbo and Cams

Thanks

i have this:

Evolution 3
Turbo = TD05H–16G6-7
Nozzle Area (cm2) = 7
Turbine = Inconel (steel alloy)
Compressor = Aluminium, 68mm wide

is it true that the most you will get out of it is about 15 - 16 psi??? if you manage to somehow get more boost you are likely just making hot air and making less power than you would at a lower boost since you are pushing the turbo way past its efficient operating range?

I have this turbo on my Eclipse. At the track, using 117 octane fuel, I run around 25psi with the Evo III 16G. It is good for ~400hp at the wheels.

On 93 octane, I run 22psi. Works great.

Anyone know more about this turbo TD05HRA-16G6-9.8T - I just bought it and have installed it. seems to spool much quicker. However, how much max boost will it run and any flow ratings? charts? ect.

Btw anyone want to buy an EVO 6 turbo? thanks.

I know its the same one, but he was asking for info on the 8 and the 9.

Not a joke I'm afraid ..

There's 3 series of Evo that uses the 15gk compressor wheels
The Evo 6.5 TME GSR TD05HRA-15GK2-10.5T
The Evo 7.5 GT-A TD05HR-15GK2-9.0T

And the Evo 9.5 (aka Evo 9MR)

Now to go dig out the proof
