Is it ok to use a mityvac to bleed the clutch?

I have a mightvac laying around that I never used and am planning on using it for the first time to bleed the clutch. Ordinarily I would have a friend hold down the clutch and I would open the bleeder screw, close the bleeder screw and he would have to pull the pedal back up checking adding fluid every few times. Since Iam doing a complete fluid flush that may be a bit tedious. Does anyone know if I will have problems opening the bleeder screw, pumping out the fluid with the mityvac and closing the bleeder screw again?
