1062 WHP - back tuning on the Dyno Flash Evo 8

I enjoyed being the world's most powerful 2.0 L Evo 8 for the few weeks it lasted so when my record was beaten this weekend and at the same time I was finishing up getting my car back together I decided to get back on the dyno and try and get back the dyno power record

Just to reiterate my basic power mods for those new to my car

2.0 L Buschur Race Short Block wioth alum rods 9 / 1 compression ratio
Buschur Stage II head
Gt42 R Shrerer manifold
Kansai intake manifold
Buschur 3.5" exhuast
Buschur race fmic
Buschur fmix pipes
Buschur cop ignition
Buschur mini battery kit
Buschur strut bar
Buischur MBC
Buschur rear mustache bar
Shep Trans
Drvieshaft shop rear axels
AEM EMS
1650 injectors
Weldon fuel pump

Today I was able to sort out a lot of things as I took the whole day on the dyno

To me having a car which runs well is more inportant than peak power so I started at high 800 whp and worked my way up slowly over the course of the day to 1062 whp step by step

As always tuning involves comapring A - B and chosing which one works better and doing the mental thought process to figure out what works and what does not work.

Special thanks to Master David Buschur for his continued support and guidance.

Also thanks to Sean Ivey for some great ideas which I employed on my latest tuning session which worked very well.

I found that the car makes more power on street tires.

I dialed in the tune to the extent that the car is as smooth as any of my customer's cars - the car runs amazingly clean for a 1000 whp plus car.

It was a long 10 hours of dyno work and right now my brain is clouded from lead fumes and loud sounds and a lot of stress. I took the Buschur motor apart myself to have the crank planed smooth, put it all back together started it up and drove it right on the dyno without a drip or any problem what so ever. I tuned it myself and drove it on the dyno myself. I am very impressed with the Buschur motor and all my Buschur parts.

We were all laughing how the exhuast flow is strong enough to blow our ventilation fan right over.

My next experiment is to try the car without an exhuast just for kicks.

I have some boost control issues to sort out and then i am confident I will crak 1,100 whp with ease. I will have to wait to try and reclaim the dyno queen record till later in the week as I have a lot of customers to tune tomorrow and tuesday.

We made some videos - part I and then Part II after dinner. I will post them up later.

Al

Damn bro, you even drove it on the dyno yourself?! What can't you do, bro?

Nice numbers.

You are correct, and I am sure that is helping with the higher HP numbers. But don't forget ifarted2 has a 45R wheel as well, which obviously flows more air.

Either way, it's exciting to see new levels hit, big congrats to everyone pushing these new limits!

Don't forget that ifarted has an air to water intercooler and a 45r as well

Awesome power for the setup!

i think that air-water is overkill. i bet that thing and the reservoir weight a good 200lbs when filled.
