I think this turbo set up I have now is a really good balance between turbo lag and peak power - its very fast to respond between shifts and it hits very hard right off the line.

I am very interested to see the results of Paul's intake manifiold testing if he ever gets around to it. I can tell you to run such a test will really be a major pain in the *** and a huge amount of work. Kudos to him for attempting to pull it off.
Al ive got my coils being overnighted wont be here till tomorrow morning
That will be awesome to see you on the dyno tonight and see your #s
Guys its is so much work to get a car like this to the point we have it. Props to you AL for the hard work and dedication Get her done on the dyno tonight than get her to the track lol im getting tons of pms and email of people telling me to get her the track

How did the bearings look?

I'm curious just because I personally do not really know what good or bad bearings look like and I'd have been interested in how yours looked after making all that power on pump and race.

Did you pull the head too?

The main and rod bearings looked like brand new - I did not even polish them

I have some video of it I will try and get up when I have time

There has been no metal bits in the oil and the oil comes out looking clean everytime

One could debate the definition of being practical, but it is a moot point nonetheless and serves no real purpose in this thread. You agreed to my point right there. Congrats and keep up the good work.

Thats great news. Glad to hear.

It would be cool if someone started a thread talking about bearing wear with pics and what not so the less experienced would have an idea of what is ok and what is not ok.

First chance I've had all day to get a look at this thread.

VERY FREAKING NICE JOB AL!!! Very nice. Thank you for being out there and promoting us.

The power is insane!

Not to take this off track but I agree with you 100% on working a combination and making it work right instead of just adding more parts. I've been beating combinations into the dirt for my entire "life". I've been too slow to change at times and it hurt me in the past but I always like to get the most out of something before moving on, just like you.

Hell a year and half ago I thought my car was maxed on on the GT35r at 490 whp. Now it's making almost 700 on an HTA35r. It's a perfect example of not moving on to something "bigger or better" to make more power. I fully intend to see that car run 9.20's this year and stay a REAL street car, on a 35r.

Great job. Make sure to let me know if you need anything.

Keep up the good work.

I was back on the dyno again tonight for some more pulls - another video to come

The car would not make any more power with the exhuast on the car

Since all the events I plan to run in the next few months require an exhaust I am up against it for the time being

Time to take to the track and see how it runs

I am very pleased the way the new Buschur motor is holding up to all this dyno abuse at 1,000 plus whp - I must have 20 pulls at that power level so far with no problems
