I didn't know you were at the track the day I crashed the tube chassis car. Did you see it after the wreck? What a day that was.

Man nice job Al! I have to agree about the power, if you can put down all that power you are making now then I would worry about making more power.

Sadly, when i got to the track to do my prep work i dound that all along I had been working with a significant boost leak which I then fixed.

When I hit the track the car over boosted in 3rd gear and I blew the head gasket.

I already took the head off when I got back to the garage this evening and should have it all back together again tomorrow and back to the track soon.

I got a call from AL last night,this guy is so dedicated to racing.I will be out to ICS this weekend with SHarkite to see AL hopefully we will all be at the track

Sorry to hear that Al.

Have you looked at a log to see how much boost you hit? Where was the boost leak and how did you end up noticing it? What are the symptons of a blown headgasket? Meaning how do you know when it has happened to you?

The boost hit 60 psi and when it hit the fuel cut is when it poped the head gasket

Symtoms of head gaslet were oil leaking into clyinder and some oily smoke out the muffler

Also a head gasket can result in coolant smell out the exhuast

And / or collant in the oil or visa versa
