Good luck again and hope everything is ok apart from the gasket.
I've always wondered what actually happens and how the engine likes it when fuel or ignition cut occurs. In the case of just fuel cut, it doesn't seem to be that harsh, but maybe if it is hitting it fuel cut, then coming back in, then hitting again, maybe that is what is harsh on the motor?

It seems my Subaru STI heads are nearing completing so that project may be getting my immediate attention
With the warm weather comming I need a car i can drive around without risk of police intervention
