Congrats on the numbers

Have you tried pressurizing the top port on the wastegates with intake manifold pressure and then venting the lower port to atmosphere? Works for a couple friends that are blowing open wastegates on the smaller GT42s.

Congrats Al ! Your car sounds very smooth and clean. Spool actually does not seem bad at all and the power is just insane. Keep up the good work!

It is great that people like Al, David, Paul, AMS etc..have been pushing the envelope. The trickle down effect of all the money that they spend makes it much easier for the more average guy to bolt on a combination of parts that are proven to make power. We are all benefiting from their willingness to dump insane amounts of money into a 4g63 powered bread box. Thanks for the hard work and relative openess from most of you for posting honest info.

Al, please proof read your post. It isn't worded correctly, I don't think. Are you saying that on a 1060 whp EVO our 3.5" exhaust flows as well as an open exhaust? If so that's pretty impressive but makes sense. I tested the 3.5" vs our 3" on my RS at 700 whp and gained absolutely nothing.

VERY nice hp curve Al! Sometimes, I think, that too much emphasis is put on a PEAK number and not nearly enough on HOW the curve looks. For maximum performance, the curve is more important than any SINGLE number. That's why Hondas can make a big peak number, but lose to a lesser horsepower car. I'll take a better curve anyday, over a better peak number but lower curve. Keep up the good work.

Interestingly, we dropped the Buschur 3.5 " cat back exhuast last evening and did back to back dyno pulls and the car did not pick up any power - just noise

I spent a lot of time trying to make the car just as smooth as any customer's Evo reflashed car.

Hours were spent on the dyno to dial it in 100%

It is only through Buschur's innovation in making literally bullet proof engines that the idea of fine tuning a 1,000 whp Evo is even thnkable - in the past when I started to make big power I would have to just head to the track quickly before it blew up. Now with Buschur engines 1,000 whp is no problem.

I ask that anyone looking at my dyno sheet take a careful look at the shape of the curve and the way the car pulls clean and smooth to red line

Al

Time to take to the track and see how it runs

Curve looks great AL should be a blast getting her down the track. Makes it allot easier to drive thats for sure. We are working on a few tricks to get my spool up which i think we can gain 1000rpms more in spool. The one thing i do love is my turbo just keeps above 1000 hp past 10,000rpms no problems. Which means nice mph. If needs be ill use a 75 shot to get her going

I cant wait to see how both of us do
