Exhaust smell inside

I'm getting a strong exhaust smell inside the cabin only when I'm in boost 10+ psi at idle and normal driving I have no exhaust smells incabin. I had the megan manifold on the car which was cracked replaced with ported and coated buschur manifold I also went ahead and did o2 housing while I was at it. All new gaskets on the manifold to the head manifold to the turbo and o2 housing all torqued to spec. I've checked and re-checked and can not find a leak on the head side. So I'm thinking it's where the down pipe meets the cat. I also had the shop that did my fluid change check and they did not find anything. AFRs on the apexi narrow band are very normal 14-3-14.5 at idle so I don't think its head side. It does dip in 10.0AFR at full boost but I need a tune for that problem. It does have a HFC and espelier jsg500 exhaust.

From the DP to cat i'm not sure but downpipe to o2 housing was 42-46 ft lbs.

Did you DIY or did you have a shop install the DP and Cat for you?

Turns out to be the v-band clamp for the turbo I finally saw the soot buildup, I tried to tighten it down some looks like it worked itself loose. I'm going to try again later clean it off see if comes back or all is good.

Keep us posted. I get the same thing right now and have been too busy to investigate.

Did it fix it?

Yes it did end up fixing my problem. Guess with the heat making it expand then tighten it up I haven't had a problem since.
