i love how my m2's idle; so close to stock. turn up the boost and that sucker'll wake up a lot. my IX rs laid down 338hp and 371tq on a mustang dyno @ 26.5 psi and i still have a conservative amount of timing and pull some more fuel for some more power.
Your M2's idle close to stock?

Mine idle no where near it. At a redlight you will think I have cams, or there is a vacuum leak...lol.

I like it though.

yeah you can make em sound nasty by advancing the mivec at idle or advancing the timing on idle.

Probably around 350whp. I don't know if you really need the headstuds. What are your springs ? Looks like a perfect drop!!

Are you going to raise the boost from the original 21 psi? If so, then it depends upon where you stop as to how much power you're going to make. If you go to 23-24, then I predict 348-352 whp. If you stay at 21 psi, then I would imagine somewhere around 329-333.

I made 340/344 on a very conservative tune with limited dyno time. If I had more time, I could have gotten 365. 9sec9 is right on the ball with the numbers...

Cheers-
E

ive been reading that these cams are supposed to have stock idle quality but all the sound clips on youtube have a lopey idle on the IX's. Can anyone chime in on this and say if yours do the same or are they very close to stock.
