Whats wrong with my EVO!!!!

Tonight while driving home, right when I got on the on ramp, my car made this vacuum type of noise or some kind of air noise inside the car and after that my car stalled....I then try to restart it, it started but it die 2 secs after.....So I waited a little bit, then started it again, it idle at less then 500 rpm and wants to die but just enough for it to stay on, then I try to drive it but it won't because it starts to sputter.......

I have in my car an ECU upgrade (Flash), RMR filter kit, Forge BOV, and self-made grounding kits......

But I've had these mods for days and it never happen until now.....

If anyone knows whats going on, please advice as my car is sitting out on the street unmovable......

make sure your intake is still attached to your turbo hehe.

Check ALL intercooler lines, all vacuum lines, essentially all lines you can see in your engine bay. Sounds like one just popped off! If its an intercooler hose that popped, that will make it not want to start!

I've had the last hose that attaches to the throttle body pop off 2 or 3 times, and i'd never touched it! Just check all your hoses, sounds like exactly the problem...

Thanks for all the fast replies guys. Tomorrow morning I will check all the lines.......

It was like what TRDHarrier said, I gunned it up the ramp and I hear that vacuum or air noise and all of a sudden I lost all power and the car died........

I will let you guys know tomorrow if I solve the problem.....

PHEW>.....I popped my hood 5 minutes ago and I was checking for all the connection on the pipping and sure enough it was the L bent pipping that came off on the intake manifold. The clamp is gone. But I just happen to have one laying around in my house....

That explains the sudden vacuum noise I heard in the car.......I am glad it wasn't something I had to take to the dealers......

Thanks guys for all your support!!! I really appreciated!!!

Yeah, that happend to me too. Might be a good idea to start locktighting the hose clamps guys. I'll probably re check all my hoses this week as a matter of fact. Mine was the turbo inlet hose last time.
