5th gear grind?

ok well i came to the conclusion that since my insurance dropped im keeping my 03' evo. but.....5th gear grinds i tried to put in new tranny fluid that suppose to make it stop and it didnt. i heard it can either be my 5th gear and syncro or my transfer case. it grinds at high and low rpms. like before it used to not grind when i did it at low rpms. so now that i wanna keep my evo i wanna get it fixed but i was wondering whats the best solution to go by. also i dont have a **** load of cash so a new tranny is prob out of the question help me out guys!

wrong section. this is the evo x section, and you want to be in the 1-9.

This seems to be a very common issue on the evo tranny. Found out it was the synchros and sliders. I had this 5th gear grind from day one. Just ended up sending it in to Shep. No more grind.
