ok well my 5th grinds in my 03'. i tried putting in new trans fluid that said it should stop it but it didnt work. ppl tell me its my 5th and syncro going and i hear it can be in the transfer case. is there anyway i can fix it without spending a crap load of money?

 

the syncro is probably shot. does it grind all the time or only above a certain rpm.

 

all the time now. used to be able to do it at like anything lower then 3k and be fine but now everytime.

 

synchro or slider. Mine did it from the first week i bought it. Tranny ended up being re-built.
