did a compression test. ''dry''
this was done on my car just after running it. it was hot
from left to right.

1
7 cranks = 170
5 cranks = 170

2
7 cranks = 170
5 cranks = 170

3
7 cranks = 170
5 cranks = 170

4
7 cranks = 175
5 cranks = 175

now im going to do a leak down test and check my head studs to make sure there trq'ed down still.

the turbo kit its self weighs more then the stock one buy alot. so if anything the weight i saved i just added with the turbo kit.
lol, no dan over here we say "gutted" when your really upset/not happy
about something or luck is just not on your side
i found dry leak down test work best as you don't have the bubbling
sound of the air going through liquid when dry, so you can pin point
by listening to where the air is leaking. i.e if your inlet valves are leaking
you will hear air in the inlet plenum or filter. or exhaust if the exhaust valves
and in your sump breather if the rings are leaking bad.

dan you need to bring your car down...

we just did 380-400 whp a few times with 50 trims, stock block with cams.. 22-25 psi on pump stock ecu... spool is great....

we saw an hta3076R last week that didnt impress me for spool...

id like to get yours on the dyno, to get some comparable numbers.

I wouldn't have thought a leakdown test makes sense if the compression test comes up ok?

careful??? dude. im a beet the **** out of my car till it explodes and i dont give a f#$k what happens till then. but untill then i like to know whats going on and how things are holding up. haah.

the smoke could of been from the 300mile cheese steak cruse we all took and well lets just say 65mph was not maintained. so it could of been some blow buy or from the p.o.s gas station i had to fill up at. i normally only use sunoco gas but i had to fill up at a no name junk station cause i dident think i would make it to a sunoco let alone know where the next one was. so it could of been bad gas i guess. i have no clue really but the motor is perfectly fine and is really for another sh!it kick beating. lets do it.
