Read that link... It is a series of tests performed by several of the Top Testing Facilities in the US

Royal Purple doesn't fare too well... of course, not much that Royal Purple makes does..

We've done a lot of testing and seen considerable gains in switching to Royal Purple from conventional, Amsoil, Red Line and Mobil 1.

I've used Royal Purple for years without any oil related failures. The Pro-stock motorcycles run it and they turn insane rpm's

Take a look at Royal Purple's results in a 20 Hour Shear Test Located on Page 6

www.bestoil4you.com/files/g2457GearLube.pdf

They can't even stay in Grade when they start out at a higher Viscosity than other lubes.

Some things to consider... I can sell you an additive for your oil or gear lube that will lower oil temps and provide you with more HP.... GUARANTEED !!

Will you buy it ??? Some people will blindly buy that additive and it does what it says.... What they don't tell you is that it causes excessive wear and your oil breaks down faster..

Think of why you don't see advertised on TV anymore: Pro-Long, Motor-Up, Dura-Lube and the others.. They were sued by the FTC and lost... Great claims, false advertising..

Oil brands are like cell phone companies; eventually you get around to sampling each. this is my case, and after i have tried them all my car simply responds better to royal purple. From motor oil to gear oil.

I have no PM from you... just went and checked...

If you are going to use Redline, Do No use Shock Proof, it has a tendency to build deposits. Use MT-90... Not MTL.... MT

I am going to send you a PM just for contact.. Please reply just so I know...

May have had something to do with me being Suspended for a day ... LOL

personal experiance thru 2 friends. VERY BAD. Granted it was engine oil, but still. The both withing 2 oil changes had fatal engine failures due to the oil. Both were rod bearing knock.

There is a 3 Sequence test for Shear on oils. The RP that was tested, sheared out of Grade at the end of the first sequence.

What does this mean ? It means the oil thinned out below it's advertised Viscosity Grade.... ie: The 10W-40 that was tested ended up a 30 wgt 1/3 the way through the test..

See where RP Gear Lube ended up .
