awwwww man that is not the attitude I would want someone who is working on my car to have. that would scare the **** out of me. I rather have the attitude "i enjoy driving more than fixing"
not saying your like breaking customer cars or anything. But just stating my personal feeling is all.

I enjoy working on my car too - but it must take it's toll when you work so hard, go to the track and break, and then work your butt off again, go to the track and break again...

I can't wait to see the video when Al finally gets the beast down the track, it'll be very entertaining I'm sure...

No wonder Al hasn't chimed in.

All he does is run his mouth about Buschur parts, and look what happens. Set sail for fail.

Wow you are a complete idiot. He has failed huh...he may not make alot of people happy but he sure hasn't failed. You call over 1000whp failing? Do you even own an evo or just like running your mouth?

making power without breaking is more impressive than making more power and failing all the time.
but making the power in the first place is impressive nevertheless.

The low down on the block situation is this is the same old block I had way back that cracked down the cylinder bore

Rather than tossing it out I asked Mr. Buschur to try and sleeve the bad bore for me to save myself some money

Sadly it seems that the crack continued into other areas of the block

Most of the parts I have been using are all used and recylced so when things break its not a big deal to me

I made 20 plus 1,000 whp dynp pulls on the car so I was very happy that the repaired block help up so well

In retrospect I will prob just throw out any blocks that crack in the future

I agree with those who say if you are not breaking parts when you are trying to break records then you are not trying hard enough

My goal with the car this year is to leave no prisioners and push it as hard as I can - period - as Buschur and others have said no excuses no BS - full race hard core

Al

I agree 100%

no excuses - no BS - Bonzai !

I test the limits on my own car as I don't care what breaks as I enjoy taking it apart and putting it back together

There is nothing I enjoy more than spraying it down with break cleaner and cleaning under the car and poslihing the control arms

Anyway - I do this on my own car to learn more and get better at what I do

Customer cars are not tuned the way the race car is tuned

Al
