Thanks Mike, something I have been wanting to do for a while, a shep dog box would do the trick, unfortunately its not in my budget at this time. Just to get by I'm probably going to do the standard shep rebuild for now, it has proven itself to me over and over.

yes sir, the video seems slow to what it was actually doing, it is a handful now but I felt comfortable with it and can't wait to get back in and try it again.

What was the trap speed at the 1/4?
Thanks Ivan, its been way too long, I was happy to actually get it to the track this past weekend. I have to pull up my time slips but I believe I hit a few 1/8 mile 89mph to 1/4 142-144 mph. Its hard to gauge what it will even do right now, just have to get a better shifting trans and make at least a good 1/8 mile pass to see the potential. It will get there eventually, hows the 240 coming along?

yes that was first round eliminations. After trying 2 times in qualifying... we decided to try and adjust the clutch to see if that would help get it into gear. It felt better but, I got locked out of every gear so I know the trans is definitely toast. I was dissapointed only for the fact that I let some fans down. I know a lot of people were there expecting big things to happen, just unfortunate that the transmission didn't allow us to get at least 1 solid pass. However we did make some good progress on getting a lot of other issues worked out and I learned a lot on what adjustments I need to make to the chassis as well. It was a great experience coming up to ID, very nice track and met some great people.

I have a very special appreciation for what you do, I know how much it takes to be at the level you are at... its alot of work for a privateer.

thx!!!

btw - congrats on baby...
Thanks Nils my little buddha loved the track, he only cried when I lost Anytime you need anything just let me know. I have a lot of respect for you and your car, anything to help fellow racer out its nice to have someone at your caliber right around the corner, hope all went well at the track for you.

We are going to keep chopping away at all the bugs. I just wish I was there from the beginning when this car was built this time around so I know what all was done.
Slowly but surely we are making progress and fixing all the issues with it. Biggest problem right now is the transmission.
I just want to thank you for all you have done for me. Jake is a stand up guy and doesn't give up... a true friend and that is hard to find in this type of industry. I know a lot of people may not see it, but this past weekend was a learning experience. You know what they say... Rome wasn't built overnight, with a new build even the things we thought were ok needs some adjustments, it will get there we both know it. After work, going to take off the tie, pull up the sleeves and start wrenching again, talked to Vince and he's on board

July 11th-12th is the goal. This event will be the BOTI in Las Vegas. Hopefully Dan can get the trans sorted out by then and get it back together.

Thanks for the support, I was happy to help you and Nils out, anything to help a fellow racer. I know how it is when you need one small part to get your car going and hopefully someone has it. So if you need anything just let me know. Shep is just about done with my trans, then back to the track. Next Friday is BOTI so if all goes well this Evo will hit some good numbers. Jake Montgomery will be here to help out too, he has been a great help and I can't thank him enough. Stop by our tent at BOTI to hang out we will have plenty of chairs
