We did testing 2 weeks ago and went 8.83 @164mph in the talon, it backed up my 8.86 @163mph from the previous weekend.
Our next stop is in Mayrland for the BOTI event at MIR on June 27th-28th. Car is all ready. So we are saving it for that. It's going to be a long trip, 3 days there and 3 days back. Not looking forward to the long *** drive lol.

Thought I would update this thread. Dan is currently on his way to my neck of the woods up here in Idaho with the evo. We plan on running it this Saturday the 14th at our local "import summer jam" event at firebird raceway in Boise Idaho.
We are going to do a few shake down passes to start with and if everything is up to par we are going to make some full passes. Wish us luck guys! I will update Saturday night sometime, it might be late as the event goes until 10pm.

woohoooo, Good luck Dan. That power curve is going to do some incredible things. Of course, you're driving will have SOMETHING to do with it. Be fast, be quick, but most of all Be SAFE.

This may sound like a stupid Noob question but how much would a build like this cost to duplicate? I have mechanical ability to do alot of the work myself but how much $$$ worth of parts and such would this cost?

its not always the parts: its the time, engineering and parts that add up quick

Not to mention things like a trailer, rig, gas for both rig and race car, entrance fees, hotels, etc.

Takes a big bank roll to campaign a car at that level.

According to Al we flush a lot of toilets full of cash
