New CBRD build.... some cool stuff..

well,

we had a post about this car before...

now its moving further... stock ecu car... was making 408whp on our Mustang Dyno at 22.2 psi on 93 octane.

car had am ETS standard 50 trim, s1s, ETS fmic, ETS turboback, and 780 injectors...

now...

more mods..

Buschur Racing Cylinder Head
Jun EVO IX Cams
Hypertune Intake Manifold with tbody
Custom CBRD/Blouch 50 trim with 55lbs min GT series compressor wheel
Quick disconnects
COP ignition
AMS FPR (joe wanted it, told him we didnt need it hee he)...
some custom work on the piping to make it fit....
new AEM gauges, and some other bits...

this car has the 6 speed out of our MR time attack car....

I expect around 460whp-ish at 25psi on 93... stock bottom end. we will see next week.

anyway... here are some pics... ill update as we go on...

Swain Coated Manifold

quick disconnects

custom 50 trim

this is a standard 50 trim we have sitting here on the left, and the new comp wheel on the right!

cheers

Any reason for the quick disconnects? I have always been leary(sp?) of those falling out.

they are good to 120psi and under vaccum...these arent cheap... the ones from vibrant etc are plastic mostly, these are metal.

Quick disconnects are awesome. I use them on my car. It beats using ss line for vaccuum hoses. I'm pretty sure tractor trailers use the same type of fittings for air brakes.

www.Mcmaster.com is where I got mine from.

Anything special to get that hypertune to cooperate with the stock ECU?
