Yes they are, FMVSS and D.O.T. approved for use in Tractor Trailer Air Brake Systems. So, my guess is if they are good for 80,000lb truck brake systems at 100+ psi, they will be good for anything my car could possibly throw at them.

we really want to put a .82 hotside on the hybrid turbo, we think that will allow more power everywhere.

The GT3776 compressor wheel is 76.2mm exducer and 52 trim. But it's not one of those?
The "regular" GT3076 available in the USA is 76.2mm exducer and 56 trim. It's not one of those either?
The HKS 3037 has a variety of 76.2mm exducer Garrett GT compressor wheels available, one is a 52 trim. Is it like that?

The 58 lb/min wheel I believe would be the GT3782 wheel (82mm exducer).
Your 58 lb/min wheel by the way has a sneaky little compressor map (if it's the GT3782). At first glance it doesn't look like much. The GT3076 has higher max PR and almost the same max lb/min. But pick a likely max operating point. Say 3.25 PR and 50 lb/min. This is right on the max speed line of the GT3782 map. The GT3782 rated efficiency there is about 75%. Find the same point on the GT3076 map. Rated efficiency is only about 68%. That's a big difference!

The wheel that Chad says is 55lb/min has me bamboozled. I don't see where it came from.
