Any how-to for replacing Alternator?

Took the Evo into the dealership...

My Battery and Brake warning lights have been on for a bit.

Turns out the ecu is programmed to flash those 2 bulbs if there is an Alternator/Generator issue! So there ya have it.

The alternator is apparently overcharging the battery according to the tech.

I have not found a how-to on this site and am going to post a request for one, or see if anyone has tried this in the past.

Tom

it is pretty simple. Goes on the same way it comes off. It is not adjustable also. Take off the belt. Should be 2 bolts I believe and then put the belt back on.

I've done it 3 times, it doesn't look to good from the bottom with the axle right in your face. From the top is how i've always done it. I think I saw a mistubishi how-to online that wants you to remove about 50 parts to get it out the top. I took off the FPR and moved a few lines on the left side of the engine bay and was able to pry it out. It sucks.
