ok my car has been running fine, but I pulled my head off to send it out to get it ported and polished and on the side where the thermostat is there seems to be a kind of crack.. BUT it almost looks as if the crack follows the molding of the head and might be there on all heads.

I've been all paranoid searching the forums trying to find a pic of the thermostat side of a head so I could compare them. but had no luck since this isnt a side most people even care about since no porting or polishing is done to this side. does anyone have any pics of this??? or does anyone know what I'm talking about? wish I had taken a pic of it before I sent it off.

 

btw it's on the side of the head near the thermostat, not on the surface of the head. might also have to have the thermostat assembly removed in order to see it.

 

so nobody knows what I'm talking about???

nah, wish I had taken some before I sent it off. I guess if there is a crack then where I sent it would notice and let me know
