I was kind of figuring "The Trent" and Slicks....considering those 60' times are pretty nasty!

Trent is an excellent driver and I am lucky to have him around to drive for me. I have another buddy that is very good too, they have both run the same times in the car on the same day, Kevin Lawson. So I think I know TWO freaks!

What is the difference between my car and Eric's, Tim's and Jeff's? Well my car made the same power at Jeff's and only about 20 more whp than Eric's and Tim's. In the HP department they are all about the same.

All of these guys can drive. My car is ligther than all of theirs, it's an RS and I've spent considerable time/money making sure I have light parts and nothing that I don't need. They all have working a/c, full sized radiators, stock water pumps, stock wheels and all are running on normal radials that are hard and don't hook that well. You are going to see all three of those guys go faster this year without a doubt. Jeff's car already went 137.98 mph, so it is very close to my car.

I know all of them are going to work on getting rid of extra unwanted weight and I have offered each one of them the use of my tires/wheels if they want to use them.

Also I am NOT running on slicks. The tires on the car are DOT approved Hoosier's. A slick would probably gain another .10 in the 60 foot.

Ok Thanks! Nice to know, just proves how much weight truly does effect these cars.

Sorry about the slicks, I knew they were drag radials, just came out wrong.

Either way, Great times! Are al of these cars going to be running at the import shootout?

Congratulations Dave!

What do you think you would run on race fuel right now with the spec of your car as it stands?

Yes, all of us will be running at the Buschur Racing Sport Compact Shootout in two weeks.

crcain, I'm not sure what it would run right now. My goal for this year with the car is/was 9.20's at 155 still 100% street legal and street trim like it is now.

I am fairly certain, just running this same boost level and just switching over to the race gas map and race gas the car would run 9.60's at 150 like it did last year. The car on race gas made 630's at 33 psi. Last year at 40 psi I was making 650 and ran 9.65 at 151.

As I said, I have some changes to make and think I will find another good chunk of horsepower over the next two weeks.

Congrats on the runs today David!

When you get an idea in your head, you don't quit until you get it. You'll go 9's...no worries here.

David since it's so hard to get you at work I'll ask you here... my etch-a-sketch is out of lead and I can't draw anymore parts for you. Can you pick one up when you come out? Who needs an engineer or CAD when you have one of these.

Congrats Dave! I do believe that is the new DSM/EVO pump gas record for both mph and ET!
