Changed the Intake mani = lean air fuel

I am having some problems and i cant seem to figure out whats wrong.
Car was running fine before i changed the intake manifold and throttle body.It made 320 on CBRD's mustang dyno. I thought let me get a ported intake mani with a bigger throttle body (PPI Stuff) and also got an intercooler (ETS 3 inch). So i put all the parts in and went to Chad to get it tune. car was a little leaner than usuall but i thought it was due to the part. So we put the car on the dyno for a tune and after 1 hour of tuning car made 300 hp and 285 tq. Less than what i had before. we are targetting super rich fuels and car still runs lean up to 6500 and than from 6500 to about 7000 it gets rich. from about 6000 to 6500 rpm the injectors are at 104% ... cant be running out of injectors at that hp range.. we changed the plugs, fuel pump, injectors, fuel preassure regulator and its still the same thing.
i put back the stock mani and stock throttle and cars running even leaner.. dont know what am i doing wrong???? cant seem to figure out the problem.. am i messing something up???? all the vacum line are checked many times, i have tightened all bolts and still. we did a compression test and car has 130,140,140,130. no boost leaks...

what are the torgue specs on the mani and throttle body bolts and nuts.???

Any help will be greatly appreciated...

i understand low and mid renge would be lower but car is loosing 20 whp up top. where even if it does not make more it should stay the same. chad was aiming for the air fuels 7-8. could an intake mani leak cause something like this???
and now that i put the stock parts back on car is still running lean.. its in the 12 at midrange...

Reading comprehension. Stock ported intake manifold.

make sure all the lines are hooked up..especially the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator...thatll lean it right out...also what fuel pump are you using?....might want to consider getting 660 injectors...

Sounds like something else...tuning perhaps... Why is he tuning so rich?

sound like you need to do a boost leak test. Go over every part you took off and double check them, did you check all the sensor connections, kink in a line.

Yeap! I would do a boost leak test.

A few hints:

1. Check TB gasket.
2. Check all the vacuum lines. Specially the three behind the manifold.
3. Ensure that you got proper seal on the intake manifold gasket.
4. Check for pin holes on the lines.
5. Check IC installation... leaks, etc!

If you are asking for the TQ specs for the TB and intake mani... it may be to late if you over tq them.

Also, you getting rich at 6500 and up can be the lean spool not been disabled on the ECU.

ok guys..

here is what we've done..

pressure tested the intake mani from tbody, pressure tested from compressor inlet, pressure testing from maf pipe...

compression test...

new plugs, different injectors, different fpr, changed fuel pumps...

the car should NOT be out of injector until apprx 345 whp on our dyno maybe 355....

and.. im not tuning it rich... we tune 11.5 on pump to 11.2ish up top.. this car is requiring ridiculously rich target AFR's values to get just under 12.0... which isnt normal...

it really makes me scratch my head.

Any chance the values for injector scaling and latencies got changed? I remember changing the base rom and forgot to move over those values including the fuel cut. It was running VERY rich and stalling under high boost.

Fuel pump failure? Maybe!

tried two different pumps back to back, and fpr's and injectors..

maps are fine... even kreionic looked at my maps to confirm.

Just a thought but have you tried swapping out a wideband sensor? Possible you have a leak downstream in the exhaust system? ummm what else? Fuel pressure Solenoid within specs? MAF within specs?

he has a wideband in the downpipe, and ours in the tailpipe, both reading lean.

everything appears to be in spec, hence why my head hurts.
