I traded my friend my evo 9 tails for his AEM tru boost. He had it on his evo RS and is a mechanic so we were going to install it on my car together. I like the adjustment features, but I also heard its tricky to dial in correctly on the evo. He said he can install it without a problem but i'm still debating on selling it and buying a MBC to simplify things. any opinions?

everyone i've asked about it loved it once they got it configured correctly... but i hear that's the hardest part. if you have the patience for it i'm sure you'll enjoy it. i'm getting one soon.

i'm sure someone with one will chime in.

I'm not a fan of MBC's. I got a Blitz SBC-id EBC and I love it once I got the gain and the set gain dialed in I love it. If I leave the car on 22psi from the night before that might be too much for a cold WGA first thing in the moring so I can turn down the setting to 14.5psi with a turn of the switch. If you want I see you live in Jersey go to a good shop and have them dial in your boost on a dyno. I had my gain up to high at one point and if I would throw it in 5th and go WOT i would go over boost so it all in the gain.
