came across this muffler on ebay, has anyone bought one of these?? sounds to good to be true, you could build one cheap cat-back if they are any good..here's the link

I doubt any product where the word "BOMB" is used in the name.
First of all, that thing can shoot larger fruits than an Apex'i GT-Spec, and if you only buy a muffler section, it's going to make a horrific scraping noise at high RPMs rather than a nice bellow and horsepower is not guaranteed.
You could build a cheap catback, but if you want any semblance of good quality out of a custom-made catback, you're going to need a well placed resonator, and someone who knows how to weld. Most likely, you're better off trying to get a $450 Apex'i N1.

I know this is evo tech, but I have this muffler on my lancer. It's pretty much a polished glasspack (which is what I was looking for) and for the money it's really nice! I have a my own welder & pipe benders so install and sealing was simple. The sound I've gotten out of this muffler + test pipe (rest is stock for now) Is a real deep growl (a lot more quite than RRM's Magnaflo) I was very suprised!
