Climate Control

The climate control dial on my Evolution seems to stick and bind sometimes. But once I move it from max heat to max cold it's back to normal. A day later, same thing. It even has a lot of slack in it. You have to turn pretty far before it feels like something is engaging then once it does it feels like it's binding..weird.

Is anybody elses doing this or just mine?

look right above the gas pedal, to the right, and behind the dash. Whenever you turn the dials there are plastic pieces that move. Try seeing if the is a wire or somehting that it tangled. You should see the same type of thing on the passenger side too.

Mine seems to have stopped going completely to vent. When I switch to cold the cable seems to stop moving the flap about at about 1/4 heat. Unfortunately that means I NEED to run the AC on 70 degree or warmer days - otherwise the vents will cook me.

Anyone else seen this?
