there is a write up in the how to forum with correct hose to splice
it basically comes from the intake manifold to the head area and the hose is bigger than the rest around and it has 2 squeeze clips holding it on

I know the vac line for the BOV (DV) is routed next to the head, is this what your talking about? I see some guys T the FPR and some the BOV vac line, I just want to make sure I'm not going to make false readings by having a T in a line.

I bellieve so, once its the one with the squeeze clips then thats the one
the fpr line is not recommended/not used when looking at boost gauge installs on evos although it is the first choice for some
check the how/installs bro, pics there

I ended up using the BOV (DV) vac line and it works perfect, 16ish Vac at idle and 20 at full boost falling off to about 17ish.

^yes the line that goes into your intake manifold from your DV valve is IMHO the best place to tap into for boost gauge. That is where i tapped my defi gauge and it works great.

After reading all the How-to's I used the plastic line that comes with the kit and put it inside of some vacume hose and then routed it, worked great and hides the white plastic line running through the bay.
