My epic saga of my 6th shootout took an unexpected turn when a spare of a spare cylinder head cracked an exhuast port in dyno testing this weekend
Left without a assembled head on hand last evening I was forced to face the reality of not making the biggest event of the year
David Buschur came through for me with a spare stock head at the last minute and I am working double time to nut and bolt the car and make final preparations so when the new hjead comes tomorrow I will be able to throw it on and get right on the dyno for last minute testing
Also good news the Bad Bish II is back in action after diagnosing a bad cam position sensor and tearing back up and down the road and George K says he will be attending his first shootout trying to go 9's on pump gas and attack the EE class
Should be a great year as usual

I felt fine for the most part. Was just tired all day but no headache or anything. Probably because I made myself upchuck that nasty *** pizza so I could go to bed without my stomach feeling like it was on fire. I think the majority of the alcohol was through my system by that point though. Any extra woulda came out with that pizza.

So the old lady at the Milan travel Park wrote me in for an A-frame cabin that sleeps 4 when I SPECIFICALLY ordered a Park Model that sleeps 7, months ago. I even gave her the specific lot # of the Park Model I wanted from their site map. So we're stuck squeezing 6 people in an A-frame cabin. Its like $80 with all of the camping/sales tax just to sleep in a tent for 3 days so its still a heck of a lot better,. We'll have a blast though.
The colonial Inn South still has rooms if anyone is in a pinch, just called today. They have these "triple rooms" with 3 queen sized beds for $99 a night too. Can squeeze 6-10 guys in there with ease! Its right after you get off the highway in Milan...heading towrds BW and EconoLodge.
