sadly no videos. I was very busy driving and tuning my car and had some technical issues I had to trouble shoot in the AM which distracted me

Thanks to Awd Motorsports - great guys - for lending me a relay

Also special thanks to young Eddie who came out to help me as my pit team all day. His assistance was really appreciated. Al

yes. Very impressive. remember though Buschur went 7's ok that turbo in his dsm before the Evo came out.

The Q16 field was the quickest in 16 years. 5 8 second dsm cars. Buschur was the only Evo in the 8's. 4 Evos including Tt, Brandon, Rickey and myself in the 9's

John shepard went 9's in his stock looking Evo in EE.

The 3 white pump gas Buschur Evos ran all day and drove home.

What an incredible weekend. I got to talk to all my inspirational heroes. CFT won a class, but I'm not posting details.

it was great to see my old friend Big Valley now medium Valley, CFT and Race Man win the newly minted Evo X class! Congrats. Dyno flash stock turbo stage II customer was runner up in the X final.

Hopefully the X class at the Event will grow as the 8 class has in the past 6 years.

Great to meet u Al. Cant wait for you to come down to visit and tune some cars.
It was nice to meet everyone. I had a great time up here and will be back. The track was awsome. The dyno shootout was good.

I'd like to send a HUGE thanks to Buschur Racing, Dave, Dan, Trent, Ted, Nick, Jarrod, and everyone who was there to lend a hand or support. You guys really came thru for us when we needed it.
Thanks again.

Chris

This event was an amazing event Al.. I have been to Nopi races all year and none of them compared to this event.. The turnout was better than almost every nopi event.. So many fast cars.. The quick 16 cutoff was a low 10.. Running 8.9's on a fp88 HTA is amazing and even more amazing is it went 166mph.. That proves the car is making some serious power!!!

Unfortunately for us we had some AEM issues which put us down early in the week and we could not get the combo setup right in time to run a good pass.. Regardless of our car not running well we had a great time with the whole crew from BR and all of their friends we hung out with all weekend which i consider our friends as well..

Al, If you needed anything on my car to make passes i would have given it to you or anyone who was there with us and BR.. I am glad you had fun running the car all day..

Hey Mike... Didn't Buschur have an AEM in stock for you guys to try out or was it an AEM issue as in wiring somewhere?

Yes he did loan us an AEM to use for sunday but on a light pass early on sunday the car was pushing coolant and we decided to just park it til we could get it back to our shop and look over everything.. I wasnt going to ruin the day wrenching on the car in hopes of resolving the issue and then miss the entire event... The trip was well worth it even though we didnt have great luck..

Thanks Mike!! Please keep me posted on what the diagnosis is once you get back. I would hate to spend a weekend like this wrenching on ****.

I'll see you all next year!! I started saving for this event.

No we didnt blow a motor because of the head.. that doesnt make sense.. maybe you misunderstood what he said.. we probably lost a headgasket or have an issue with the head we have on the car.. I am not sure which. i was on low boost just testing the car when it pushed coolant.. So i knew if we turned it up to 50+ psi it would never go down the track so we parked it early today and watched and helped out the BR guys..

You probably would have made Ye Old Faithful pale in comparison if you pushed that car to 50psi down the track...
