^-- Glad to see you made it home Caleb! You had almost twice as far to go to get home as us last night. It was also nice meeting you. I've got a couple pictures of you below.

As far as the shootout, my g/f and I had a great time. I took about 40 pictures, and a dozen short videos. I'll start posting some of the pics, and am working on the videos.

I've got a lot more, plus the videos. I'm still uploading them and when I'm done, I'll just link to the directory.

Here's most of the pictures uploaded:

The videos are very grainy, best if viewed in a small window. I'm still working on them.

For me it was the highlight of the year because not only did I get to hang around guys who I (and MANY others) consider the greats but also got to put the faces to the screen names. LilRico, 9Sec9, Raceman, VWJeff, EvoDan, Jester, Spin2gst, BigValley, CFT and crew, EvoMojo, Evo Chic, Celica2Evo, OKIX, Chalib from CBRD, AWD Motorsports guys Will, Chris, Shawn, Mike... and as always a HUGE thanks to the Buschur Team; Dave/Renee, Dan, JRod, Nick, Trent, Steve, Kevin, Ted. Also, loved hanging out at the spot and throwing some back.

The car ran flawless and was I very pumped to get it down to a new personal best time of 10.094, MPH of 147, and 60ft of 1.59. Thank you Kevin for making a few passes in her. That 9 sec is right around the corner, just need a little more seat time. I hope you all made it home safe. Lets keep the family who lost their son in the crash on Saturday in our thoughts/prayers.
Was nice too meet you as well.. Your car is badass man.. The power it made on the BR dyno is unreal.. 9's will be no problem with some seat time.. Good luck!!

First day with the new SLR, I had some settings wrong the first day at Buschurs (or more likely just drunk), but I was able to get my **** together by Sunday..unedited and right off the memory card...

As always, cars and girls..

Cars:

Girls:

If you want any FULL SIZE (resolution high enough to make some HUGE prints), please PM me the image number (found in the top left corner when viewing a picture, example "img_0474.jpg") and I will email you a copy.

Thanks.

[EDIT] LOTS of pictures of the BR built EVO's here on the track. Along with some good still pics. It was getting too hot lugging a camera around on Sunday to snap a ton of action pics, especially with only 2 hours of sleep, a sunburn, and a hangover Jesus himself couldn't even cure.

Had a great time meeting everyone and hanging out! Even though the car had some complications (damn Exedy Triple Clip) but we took it back to a friends house and at 2am we pulled it out of the garage and had some fun with the leftover Q16! lol

StreetThisEvo- You are the ****ing man and I cant give you and Jon enough thanks for all the help last night and getting it back on the road!

Your very welcome and I'm glad we could get it fixed and back up and running. It sucks working on a car at that time of night with not enough sleep.

We will have to get a date figured out in the next couple of weeks to have a mini Buschur meet at D42 once the weather cools down. With the right conditions and a solid pass I see a 9 second pass in your future. You'll have to let me drive it haha.

As for the shootout.............wow............what a great time! I want a 10 second pass so bad this year w/o going to slicks but it still isn't there. I pulled a personal best 60 foot of 1.56 but only ran a 11.16 @ 122 mph. I'm thinking the car needs to be re-tuned from adding the new IM & TB. My mph was down and the car seems to be running rich. AEM might be coming sooner then I thought it was haha.

I would have made it into the final round of the stock appearing class if I wouldn't have bogged it off the line (I never do that :sigh: ). I pulled a .096 light compared to the other guys .555 light but the car bogged and fell out of boost and only could manage a 2.09 sixty. I thought I was going to run him down top end but ended up losing by .09. O well this winter my turbo will be chaning colors and the engine freshened up haha. I will just have to wait until next year.

Congrats once again Tom & Tony! Your car is such a inspiration and I expect great things to come from you guys! The mph the car is laying down is simply sick. I need to email you one of my flashes to have you take a look at it for me. I can't wait to see your car run again.

Dave, Dan, and Trent thank you very much for all of your support this year. I dropped my transmission off at the end of Monday right before the shop closed and got it back on Thursday after work! Nick thanks for making me always spend money when I come to the shop haha. As Al always says "Buschur Power" ftw.

Thanks to all of you that came to the event.

Special thanks to IndyEVO, VWJeff, Slorice, Spin2gst, Mike and the crew from AWDMotorsports, Al from Dyno Flash, Tom Powell and his family, celica2evo, too many guys from me to list and remember them all, I have a feeling you know who you are.

It was a great event. I put up an overview of the event in the Drag Racing section.
