Pistons????what to RUN

ok like the title says im in a big on what to get for compresion and which kind!!!!

my block is 20over so need some suggestions Thanks


i know speedclinic has the cps i guess there a new design
chris@nolimit ive ordered alote from him he had told me resently he has wisco pretty cheap!!!

The block is already 20 over and have you checked the block to make sure you can do a drop in.

If you plan on running big power over 600whp get ross not the std. the racing pistons with the coating and all.

Anything under 600whp wiscos will do.

Is this the motor that blew up on the dyno?

yea but it has to go 20 due to piston scar

HTA 35R with supporting mods a bit different setup than last setup i had

bc springs/retainers
stock valves for now
looking for 500ish with reliable safe tune and then later on when i see there can be more on the table ill try to see what the 35 will hold but with me not baller status ima keep it safe for now

i was going to pick up some wiscos from a guy that said there the best and will hold 375hp in each cylinder so i was thinking about those..

he was going to run them with his 42r setup

ross pistons huh ill ask some vendors on here and see what there all about or do a search

AMS uses ross pistons on there motor builds so that will tell you something right there.


Wiscos on a 42R unless there the HD pistons i wouldnt use them past 600whp thats just me.

The Weisco HD's are stronger than the standard ones, they're legit, but more expensive.

I'd go with the WISECO's with the upgraded wrist pins. they're still under 600$ and will hold over 1000whp no problem
