If your fuel injector seal is leaking...

Fix it. My #4 lower injector seal decided to leak badly today after 15 psi. The fuel rail has never been off and the car just hit 15K miles. It hasn't turned to plastic yet but it is a lot stiffer than new. If you don't have a mitsu dealership nearby, your local auto parts store should have them. Napa has an o-ring kit that has the lower seal for $4.09 and the part number is 2-12069 (Thanks deathtracks). O'Reilly has a kit for $3.49 from Borg-Warner with the part number 274531. Most likely any other auto parts store can cross reference those numbers. I think they are a little cheaper from the dealership but a 50-60 mile round trip with gas prices lately or shipping costs would about negate the savings. Hope that helps!

No doubt! Don't forget a dab of oil on the oring to keep it from ripping when you stick it in.
