Final #s for today. More to come soon. 1117whp & 657tq

As many of you know we have been experimenting with allot of different combos. So far so good. Right now we are at 1117 whp and 657 tq this is at 48 psi. Last time we went to the dyno we where at 1079whp and 652 tq now we took it to 46psi and had 14 deg of timing with afr at 11.8. Today when we hit 45 psi at 12 deg of timing and 11.0 afrand made 1104whp The only thing we changed is we went from thee street Driven Innovations Manifold to his Drag Version. The difference being the Street had longer runners and smaller plenum but not by much. The Drag had shorter runners and Bigger Plenum.

Now our intake temps with the Extreme Turbo Systems Water to Air Intercooler was 47 deg. Last time at the dyno they where 51 deg.

It really seems like the Manifold helped allot top end we did not lose any bottom end.

The main reason we where on the dyno today was to figure out why the AEM was going dead at Track at different rpms. It would go completely dead at 8200rpms than 10000rpms just flat line than come back. We checked everything and couldn't find any real causes. So we stuck it on the dyno to see if we could figure it out. Well we tried another AEM box no luck. Than we disconnected the alternator and ran her on the battery...the AEM shut off was gone. Ok so we get another alternator and stick her on. Well today first few pulls good. 27psi 794whp,32psi 843. Everything seems to be working fine so we start cranking the boost up. Next pull 1104 whp 45 psi. Than the next pull she shuts down at about 5000-6000rpms So we are back to square one. So we mess with a few more things and crank her up 46 psi no AEM death and she wont go any higher that 46 psi dammit!.

So we throw another wastegate spring and start tuning well the AEM death comes back. It is not good on a motor for all life supports to shut down at 1100whp plus! lol. So we mess with things more and go for another pull bam 48 psi 1117whp and the AEM shuts down at 10,000rpms You can see in the video when it shuts down it pours fuel thru the exhaust and lights a nice fire. So we are going to check the grounds out and go thur the wiring harness.

As soon as we get the AEM worked out we will crank it to 51 psi. If im not mistaken thats AMS boost they hit to make 1130whp I see that # as no problem.

ETS is also going to reduce the # of cores of the Water to Air since its working so good. This should help with weight up front. Im shooting for 2550 with me in it.

Today was supposed to be track day but it was raining all day

Here is the video i just put together.
