well, it looks like you are in good hands. Lucas is pretty much the man when it comes to 4g63 motors .

Its kinda weird that you sunk the rod. I know with my last setup i was over 400whp and a 350ish wtq and i rodded the hell out of it and revved it past 8000rpm and did not even think about throwing a rod or messing up the block. Do you think the E85 had something to do with it?

I have no idea if the e85 or tune had anything to do with it. I doubt it though. Im sure once lucas looks over everything he will be able to tell me and ill let ya guys know. Im not even a 100% sure it was a rod, till lucas calls me.

that will be great if you let us know what happened to your car. I have seen several 500whp with urgraded rod bolts and no problems yet......most are Boosting happy everyday.

Fuel doesnt kill the motors unless its straight methanol which is corrosive. The E85 wasnt to blame its just a case of fatigue of the stock bottom end possibly. If the phone didnt ring off the hook I would have gotten to take a look at it today but thats all part of how it goes I guess.

Since we havent even pulled the valvecover off yet, most of the failure theories are just that. There are no leaks, holes, or otherwise, just no fuego underhood. I am going to go in early and make it my goal to see whats going on.

Just to cast my vote and my future build... 2.1 and 10:1
