Well the motors out and it was a rod. the # 1 rod crapped out. not sure why. so, ive decided to go with the 2.1 build. When everything is back together and retuned ill post up some info and hopefully a dyno graph. Im thinking i should be around 430-440 whp once all is said and done.

 

for everyday driving 2.3 is cool 9s is possible with a 35r

 

Sorry Billy for the bad luck. I found a block and its sitting on the deck waiting to get torn down and go to the machine shop. Now I have to look for another 2.4 for myself

wow...even with the rod bolts your rods took a crap . I wonder why .

We still arent sure why it lost the rod, could be anything I spose. I think with an electric waterpump and what mods you have we should be able to get Lucas hp from last year and maybe a little more. Maybe 435?
