I finished going around the exit ramp with no power steering, and the car off, and popped the clutch at the end of the ramp as I came to a stop light and it started back up, but needed a little gas to keep going. Once I took off from the light, car was fine, idled normal and drove like nothing happened. What do you think happened? The same thing happened the other day, but I believe it was because I ran out of gas, car was able to roll into a gas station at the end of the ramp. Both times AC was on, and the car really hates to idle with it on, sometimes stalling, do you think the combination of backing off the throttle fast, AC being on, and leaving my clutch in too long caused the stall? Anyone else have something like this happen to them?

Bump!!!

Any solution? Same problem in my evo VIII. Thank you!
I Change Speed Idle control, clean TBody, no solution... please Help-me!!!

Try this thread out. It helped me eliminate my stall issue with the a/c on. Post #19 is where my relief came from. Basically, I rode around the city with the a/c on for a while. I just had to let it stall a few times and eventually the rpm's wouldnt drop enough to stall the engine, they started holding at around 900 rpm's and everything is good now.

Aftermarket cone filter intakes can contribute to this issue.
