WOW that Indy manifold has a fat midrange in comparison to the DI and didnt lose much past that. Impressive results indeed

It GAINED in the top end. Compare the graphs very closely. Look at the curve closely. The Indy manifold doesn't do anything up or down, it's just very smooth in its power increases. I think that from 7500 up, they'll be close, but the ported stocker is still going to be on top. The change in whp at 6700-6800 shows that the stocker is continuing with it's normal curve. The DI shows a dip at that same point, possibly leveling off. Most drag racers are always above 6500, so the power could be a factor.

Thats a big assumption, and you have no proof to back it up. I'm not knocking your product, I like it a lot. However before the Indy manifold existed I'm sure you had " no doubt" that no stock ported manifold could hang with yours. Today we know different and I'm just looking for more info above the 7,500 rpm range. Again thanks to Dave for his time testing these two great products.

I never claimed that stock ported couldnt hang with sheet metal manifolds! This V2 manifold makes more power than most sheet metal manifolds. I'm very happy that Indy made this intake and that Dave did all of the testing! I think it show how well my manifold performs for the cost!

was the oem intake ever tsted with a 65mm tb in the previous "SUPER" intake mani test? i forget.

if so, could david please post up the most (if possible ) comparison data of the v2, oem & di intake mani's?

Pretty amazing stuff.

I haven't looked at a stock manifold in a while but... could the inlet of the manifold be ported to 3" for a 3" throttle body?

I'm not sure, but another comparison could be the DI and V2, BOTH with 65mm TB. This test shows the DI w/3" and the V2 w/65mm.

Someone emptied the drum and didn't say anything.........................
Not sure if it was the slipping tires or clutch but yesterday you said the car made 650whp and today you said the car made 632whp both with the DI manifold. Were these numbers at different RPM's just curious as to why the DI was down on 18whp today from yesterday when the boost was the same. Thanks

Wow great product Indy , this is a tribute to your dedication and engineering skills

And again to David Buschur for being the highly dedicated person he is. Without Dave the Evo community would have so much less info availible to make proper decisions
