I am sure some people think you don't do everything as you should, yet they will not come into your threads and tell you how to properly do it. If they wanted to I am sure they could replicated your fuel pump exactly, but they didn't because that is not their intention or goal.

Yes you made YOUR car make lots of HP and run very fast traps, but guess what its ONE car, that has been modified, tuned, and built to a very high degree, to go very fast down the quarter mile....

I doubt many other evo's have seen the amount of dyno or build or prep time that your RS has, given that nobody is surprised at how fast it is, but don't use it as a measuring stick against a customers mildly built street car. Yes yours is faster but frankly nobody cares.

You hit it right on the head Scorke.

Bean told exactly what happened. While on the dyno Mark noticed a discrepancy with the fuel and made a recommendation that I do lines and a regulator. He's tuned my car since '04 and I trust his advice, just as Buschur's customers follow what he recommends.

Take it as a compliment that BVP built a double pumper similar to yours. It's obvious that it's a good design and it's working for you. It's like when you decided to "reverse engineer" Perrin's boost controller

DB, I respect what you have done for the community, but I hate it when shops, tuners, individuals, etc talk sh*t about parts on customer's cars. I'm not trying to single you out, because it happens a lot on evom and from local shops/tuners. I hear the "That insert part here doesn't make as much power as this part" or "If you had bought all of my parts you'd be at these hp levels". Who gives a F*CK?!? It's my money and my car. I will do with it what I want. I shouldn't have to think twice about what I post up in fear of being attacked about what parts I decided to put on my car.

Before you go off like this is Sparta, please re-read DB's initial post.

Regardless of what he said his intentions were he made all the other posts in contradiction to what he claimed his motivations and reasons for posting in the thread were. I think that is what upset the OP and those involved with the build.

He can either buy your system for $500 or spend $350 on a regualtor and some lines ....

Or he can spend $20 on correct sized fittings/feed lines for the application.

Footnote;; Pic from BR website.

Your feed is choking at higher rpms. DB is showing you how to save coin and apply the money to the next part/parts that will net you the numbers you are looking for at the track. (use the money for drag radials instead). From what I've read from his posts, Dave is like an old Kung-Fu master..lol. He never gives you the direct answer but always gives you the clues to make the answers come to light. I don't even have a buschur part on my car, but reading his archives allowed me to build a 500awhp pumpgas platform- tuned by me.

You guys all went into the 'gang attack' mode thing with-out listening to the facts. Of course anyone would have retaliated after insulting comments. Happens to me sometimes too.

To the OP on this thread, your car is pure "SEXY-TIME". You have invested a ton of money to come very far. No one has discredited your efforts or Turbotrix's. In fact I think TTX does a great job at their facility and reccomend all in NJ to them. We know it's YOUR MONEY and YOUR CAR. You came to a public platform to share and all we are trying to do is help you move forward.

I wish you the best with your project.!!

Guys i think all DB was saying was that he didnt need to spend the extra money on the fuel lines and fpr.

I respect that you have the couth to state it as you did. That goes a long way in internet discussions. I appreciate the kind words. I wish you well with your car too

Could I have just purchased a BR double pumper? Of course I could've. But I chose not to. Either way the double pumper fittings have been changed out, -8 lines and fittings, aeromotive fuel rail and fpr have been added. It shouldn't have fuel problems now and it looks pretty good as well lol

Truth be told, I have not spent a lot of money on my car thanks to Mark, Bean and Pauly at Turbotrix. Big Valley Performance in Tampa have been a great help to me as well.

What sparked it all off was Buschur's last comment which has been deleted now. Refer to post #54 to see a quote from that comment.

What you should do now is go back to the dyno, as the change in FP will throw off your tuning.

When you do, be sure not to forget to check FP at idle and at WOT. You may find that setting the idle pressure to spec may result in reduced rail pressure at WOT. You didn't mention if you have a Hobbs switch or not, but there is a workaround if you don't.

Lastly, you should check the voltage at the pumps.

Unfortunately, there is more to this than meets the eye. For me, it's a case of been there, done that . . .

Thanks for the advice Ted B. I read your thread about drilling out the return fitting and was wondering if I needed to do the same.

Mark is coming back down to Tampa to retune my car on the 26th. BVP is doing a rewire of my pumps. We are not running a Hobbs switch on the pumps, Mark was able to work with it last time.

Here are some pictures:
