Boost stays at 12 psi

ok, so here's the deal. I had some issues with my Greddy boost controller so I completely took it out of the system. I hooked everything up to the stock BCS the way it was before but I had just blown my intake hose off my throttle body the day prior (with the EBC on). Now it's making a fluttering noise when you let off the throttle and it holds at 12 psi and will not climb any higher. I think perhaps I boosted too high and destroyed the stock BOV, but I checked it out I don't see any obvious damage. I looked at the vacuum lines and I can't find any leaks. Does anyone know why boost would stay at 12psi?

Its possible its hooked up incorrectly. Stock wastegate pressure is like 12psi or so so maybe u have vacuum line crossed or something

bump, I'm really stumped on this, any other ideas? I have the lines from the wastegate and turbo outlet teed together and going into the stock BCS. I'm pretty sure that's right, am I missing something?

yep, you're just going off wastegate pressure.

You've hooked something up wrong.

Get another BOV. I had the same issue last week. Greddy BOV FTL. I didn't think there was anything wrong with mine either but that was the problem. Same sounds and all.

i took the profec out of the system, so it's all back on the stock BCS. I had been running at 56% set, 9% gain, and 190 set gain with the limiter at 4% and the warning at 215. The car seemed to be okay at those settings, but the day I started having problems, my settings were off and I think I had a vacuum leak. The numbers weren't reading accurately and it said I was running 20 psi when my intake hose blew off my throttle body. I'm thinking it was actually holding more than that because I've been running 20 psi the whole time and never had an issue. After the hose blew off I started hearing that flutter noise. Since it's the stock plastic BOV, I figured I might have damaged it by boosting too high. I dunno, but I guess I should try another one.
