Alternatives to mini-battery on blow-thru setup?

I'll try to keep this brief. Are there any alternatives to running a mini battery when running a blow-thru setup w/the GM maf? The setup would be the 3" gm maf in the uicp. Are there any other ways to do this without the mini-battery? I searched and didn't find any solutions. The only reason I ask, is because the mini-battery kit is the most expensive item on my "blow-thru conversion" list, and it doesn't even have anything to do with converting to blow-thru except for freeing up space. Any suggestions would help, thanks.

Agreed. I have an Optima battery relocated to the trunk with a breaker system, courtesy of Drifto (Morgan Performance Fab) - much better than a mini battery.

It may be more money but it saves some weight out of the front of the car which isn't a bad thing imo.
