Mini-battery took a dump, will wet cell work?

My mini battery finally died, seeing as I have to move the car today(its in a bad spot), I need to find something that will work now. I found a motorcycle battery with the same dimensions, and it actually has a little more cold cranking amps than the mini. The only thing that I think might give me problems is the fact the motorcycle battery is a wet cell, not a dry cell. Any thoughts would be appreciated, I need to get this thing moved. Thanks.

How is the battery Mounted? If it's mounted sitting straight up, that's fine. If the battery is sitting on it's side don't do it.

DO NOT LAY SIDEWAYS!!!! Their are certain batteries that have a completely leak free seal that allow for them to be installed standing or laying down, check your battery first before you do so!

Its mounted vertically, so spillage is not my concern. I just wondered how well a wet cell would perform in a hot engine bay.

Well the battery that came with the kit was a dry cell. I know that regular car batteries are predominantly wet cell. Anyways, I put in wet cell and drove around for about an hour with no problems. I'm thinking it just wont last as long.
