Cold Clutch/Flywheel Howl
Cold Clutch/Flywheel Howl
My clutch/flywheel has been lightly howling when it's cold, meaning cold clutch/flywheel, not cold weather. This only happens when going into reverse gear or first gear from a stop after it's been sitting for a while.. If I drive for a bit and warm it up, it completely goes away. This started roughly 5k miles ago. I now have 25k miles on my IX MR. The clutch still grabs just like it did when I drove it off the lot with 6 miles on the odometer. Anyone else experience this sound from the OEM clutch/flywheel when cold?

same thing happens to me.... I just ignore it now. I would take it for warranty until it gets worse, but it's always the same thing. And it doesn't do it every time. But I know what you mean. I have an 06 MR as well.
