ACD Lights/Warranty Rouen Mitsubishi

I just had all my ACD lights come on periodically over the last few days. I checked the fluid and it was just above the "min" level. I added just a touch and the lights went out for a day.

I turned the key and the pump makes noise about 75% of the time when you press your foot to the floor. I have been trying this over the last few days.

All the lights come on during easy/normal in town driving.

I am going to Rouen Mitsubishi to have them check out the car. I am the first owner and it has never been to a Mitsu dealer yet. I have done all the maintenance myself. I am keeping my fingers crossed and I am hoping to post "got my car fixed under warranty" but... I have been checking the classifieds for a pump just in case...

If the fluid level went too low you may have to bleed the ACD system, and that's something that's generally done at the dealer (though I think there's a way you can sorta do that yourself). The pump could be making noise from air in the system.

If the ACD pump is indeed bad I don't see why it would not be covered under warranty. Just make sure that your car is stock or near stock when you bring it in. You don't want the dealer to pull the old "your mods added extra stress on your car and we have to void your warranty" crap.

I talked to the service manager and asked him if they will work on a modified car. I have an intercooler, piping, and downpipe that are visible mods. No boost controller though.

I have the stock catback on the car. I hope it goes well. It would be nice if the dealer would read the code and if it is something that I can easily do, then I will take care of it.

Somehow, I don't think it will be that way...

I also had my car broke into on June 14th and my wallet stolen. June was not a good month for me.

It could be many things other than the pump...mine was just a faulty ABS/Speed sensor...fixed already for $30.
