when i installed my 3" downpipe and 3" testpipe i installed a mechanical fix for the rear o2 sensor and it worked for about 3 days and i threw a code and i got tired of clearing the code so i disabled my rear o2 sensor and now i never have to worry about it again

I had the ebay SS CEL fix installed but got a CEL after a few days....then it disappeared. I am not certain why but I will get the rear sensor disabled if the HFC I'm getting next month keeps doing the same thing

I've been running a CEL fix for a very long time now.

It threw a CEL once before after changing my exhaust. I had a big exhaust leak before the o2 which was the cause of it. Once I fixed that leak the CEL went off after a few cycles and never came back on.

So if you guys are still throwing a CEL light with a properly made non fouler, then double check that you dont have any exhaust leaks behind the second o2. (the one that checks for emissions)

When I did mine, I had a hard time getting the O2 sensor out too. However I just got one of those sockets that made to take out an O2 sensor from the autoparts store and that plus a torque wrench and it twisted right off. Just make sure if you use the CEL fix that you have clearance between the O2 sensor and the body. My original sensor rubbed the body so bad that it eventually broke off. I had to use a hammer and beat a dent into the body so there was clearance.

Thanks BluEVOIX....I suspect I may have a leak..the exhaust has a "odd" sound at times, but this being my first exhaust I'm not certain what to expect sound-wise
