Ok poll question is: How long to break-in a Exedy Triple before drag racing?

Received all the bits I need to upgrade my twin to a triple along with AMS pull to push conversion. Shep suggested this might be a good combo so I went for it. My twin has only slipped once in 5th gear in the quarter mile when we ran a 10.9. So I'm hoping the flywheel is in good condition for the upgrade.

What did Eric recommend?

I'd say 500 miles to break it in, thats what I've always done and been told. I've had 2 twin plate clutches and now I will have a triple.

I wanted to convert to this but it was backordered when I tried getting it. My triple plate is supposed to ship today along with my new engine.

 

Honestly with a multi-plate clutch its really hard to really "break it in".

After about 100 miles you are going to do really all that you can.
