Should I upgrade APR head studs?

Got a set of HKS 272s and going to install it this weekend. should I order the studs as well and then install them at the same times?

this is kinda a 50/50 opinion. Some will say do it some will say no need. Depends on boost level. So i'll leave it at that since im kind of clueless on this topic also. We'll see what the majority says.

Why not since the install is free while they are in there anyway. Its almost pointless not to for the cost of the studs

If your running around stock boost you will be fine but why not change them while your in there. That way if you ever want to race boost for the track or something you wont need to worry!

dont do it, there is no need

if you need to change them then you should replace the head gasket at the same time. if you dont you run the risk of developing an oil leak at the back of the block which happens quite frequently

i believe like 28 psi

there are people that run more boost then that on stock bolts, but its only time before disaster will strike. better to be safe then rebuilding a motor...

i've been at 30psi on my 35r for over 10k miles with stock head studs

don't change them. there is no need to. i've seen a couple leaky headgaskets from the 1by1 method, but i've never seen a stock stud fail from running to much boost.

Ive been running between 28-30psi on a ix turbo on pump daily for a few months now no issues to speak of, then again I have a few mods to make this easier that you might not have yet. Its more important to keep a watchfull eye on knock than a specific boost number imho.
