Calling out all GSC S1 cam owners..

For all of those who installed these cams in their car I am sure you are very happy with yours as am I

Thing is there comes a time when we want to go bigger and my question is, are there any people who have actually installed a turbo/kit larger than the stocker or green with these particular cams.

My ETS 3076R is about to arrive I would like to know if the GSC S1's could hold me back. I am not looking for the theory of smaller cams and bigger turbos but rather results by someone who has actually tried it.

Thanks

Get S2's.

My friend has a green with them and I run them on a 37r

Straight from GSC's site:

GSC Power-Division's Evo 9 S1 cams are designed for those with a stock turbo all the way to a GT30/50Trim. These cams will not sacrifice any bottom end loss over stock cams; nothing but gains and will promote faster spooling of the upgraded turbos. Gains of 25-40whp (depending on Turbo) have been seen by simply bolting the S1 cams in. Designed for a rev range of 3000-8000rpms, these cams work well on the stock valve springs. 300-450whp camshaft.

Do some research. That took me less than 2 minutes.

My friend gain a lot of power going from S1's to S2's on his green.

Look at AMS's recent cam test.

With S1's you won't have to upgrade your valve springs and retainers. With S2's you do. If you don't mind doing that then I would go with the S2's, it will only help out.

Stick with what you have... If the results don't satisfy you then upgrade....

Cheers!

I just went from the S1's to the S2's, and felt a good difference uptop.
